Residential Property Solicitor

Location: Summertown, Oxfordshire

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join a highly regarded law firm based in Summertown, Oxfordshire. This is a varied role where you will primarily handle residential conveyancing matters while also assisting on a light caseload of commercial property transactions.

The Role:

Working as part of a Partner-led team, with full administrative support, you will manage your own caseload and contribute to the team’s ongoing success.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Residential Sales and Purchases (Freehold and Leasehold)
• Re-mortgages, Transfers of Equity and Title Transfers
• Leasehold Enfranchisement and Lease Extensions
• Post-completion and title registration tasks
• Handling straightforward commercial property matters, such as business leases, commercial unit sales/purchases and assisting on Landlord & Tenant matters as required

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to specialise mainly in residential conveyancing, with the opportunity to gain and develop experience in commercial property law.

Requirements:

• 3+ years’ PQE (or equivalent experience) in Residential Conveyancing
• Previous experience or a genuine interest in assisting on commercial property work
• Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
• A proactive, team-oriented approach
