Role purpose Cook The purpose of the role is to cover a short-term gap in catering provision between our existing provider ceasing operations and a new member joining the team to take over. Key Responsibilities: Cook Planning, preparing and serving healthy and nutritious meals
Keeping kitchen facilities spotless
Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met
Ensuring dietary and allergen requirements are met
Managing stock, supplies, and deliveries
Qualifications and Requirements: Cook We need someone who is: Experienced in food preparation for approximately 60 people at a time
Flexible, proactive, and able to work independently
Comfortable juggling tasks and solving problems on the go
Able to work evenings and weekends as and when required
Holds an up-to-date enhanced DBS certificate
Ideally holds a valid driving license (due to our remote location)
Qualifications: Cook GCSE English and Maths (grade C/4) or equivalent (required)
Food hygiene level 2 (required)
Allergen awareness qualification (desired)
Relevant NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification (desired)
