Job Purpose
The Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Coordinator will assist with contractual and statutory compliance for a portfolio of O&M contracts, ensuring safety, quality, and environmental standards are met. The role aims to maximize asset production, improve maintenance efficiency, and uphold high safety standards.
The ideal candidate will have a background in coordination or administration, some maintenance experience, and strong organizational and computer skills. This is a permanent, primarily home/office-based role near Exeter or at Kings Langley, with occasional travel to operational sites and RES offices.

RES is a leader in renewable energy, operating and maintaining a portfolio of solar and storage assets, with plans to expand its services.
Key Accountabilities
The O&M Coordinator will support daily, weekly, and monthly operational needs, assisting regional managers and staff to deliver safe, compliant, and cost-effective services. Responsibilities include:
- Responding to support requests from site technicians, prioritizing issues, and escalating as needed.
- Maintaining appropriate training and experience levels.
- Monitoring maintenance schedules, documenting work, identifying upcoming tasks, and managing stock levels.
- Preparing summaries and reports on maintenance activities, including photographs and insights.
- Managing stock procurement and supplier sourcing to improve efficiency.
- Ensuring accurate and prompt client invoicing for chargeable items.
- Supporting technicians with equipment hire and waste disposal, maintaining transfer records.
- Assisting with warranty claims and maintaining CMMS and quality management tools.
- Providing administrative support such as booking travel and organizing meetings and events.
- Managing third-party contractors and supporting reporting activities.
- Participating in cost-saving initiatives and analyzing maintenance KPIs.
- Monitoring site performance and supporting escalation procedures.
- Deputizing for the O&M manager when needed.
- Performing other duties as required, including stakeholder engagement and fault escalation.
