Corporate (3-6 PQE) (British Virgin Islands) (US$140K-170K) (8% TAX) Employer: Hemingway Scott Location: British Virgin Islands Salary: US$140K - US$170K (8% TAX) Closing date: 3 Feb 2026 Type: Contract / Permanent (Full Time) Job Overview We have been instructed by the BVI office of a global offshore firm to search for a mid‑level corporate lawyer with between 3‑5 years' PQE. The work will involve a broad range of matters including M&A, corporate finance, joint ventures, equity capital markets, and some exposure to general banking and investment funds work. The successful candidate will be admitted in the UK or Eastern Caribbean and have gained experience at a leading national, international or offshore firm, and demonstrate a keen desire to work in the Caribbean. You will enjoy a high level of responsibility and will be actively encouraged to get involved in client development. Responsibilities

M&A transactions – drafting, negotiation, due diligence and execution. Corporate finance matters – including equity capital markets and joint ventures. General banking and investment funds work. Client development and business‑development activities.

Qualifications

3‑5 years of post‑qualification experience (PQE) in corporate law. Admitted in the UK or Eastern Caribbean. Experience at a leading national, international or offshore firm. Strong interest in working in the Caribbean. Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
