Job Description

We are currently partnering with a top-tier law firm to support them in hiring an experienced Legal Project Manager for their growing global Corporate practice group. They seek a skilled LPM or corporate specialist interested in making a career move into LPM. You will provide expert knowledge of corporate specialties such as Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity, Corporate Governance, Venture Capital and will be offered the opportunity to develop or upskill in project delivery / methodologies.


This is a London based role with hybrid working.


Key Responsibilities:


  • To lead the legal teams through the LPM process including scoping, planning, budgeting, executing and controlling the work, cost and resources on a matter.
  • Identify improvements to the LPM processes and support the change management of implementing these LPM processes.
  • Identify and evaluate risks within each engagement and communicate appropriately to the partner.


Skills and Qualifications:


  • Must have specialist knowledge of corporate law specialisms such as M&A, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Restructuring, Corporate Governance
  • Must have project management experience working in a law firm, in-house legal function or professional services environment
  • Strong project management and leadership skills, including experience in leading complex multi-jurisdictional projects and implementing change in a global organisation is advantageous
  • Exceptional stakeholder and change management experience is essential
