Job Description

We are instructed on an exceptional opportunity for an associate at the 5-7 PQE level to join the London office of a leading international law firm, focussing on M&A and Emerging Markets.

You will play a key role on sophisticated public and private M&A transactions, joint ventures, strategic investments and restructurings, often involving multiple jurisdictions and novel legal issues. The role offers significant client exposure, responsibility for running workstreams and close collaboration with colleagues across the firm's global network.

Candidate Profile:

• Common Law qualified with strong transactional experience
• 5-7 years' PQE gained from a well-regarded law firm
• Strong background in M&A, with demonstrable experience on cross-border transactions
• Exposure to emerging markets work is highly desirable, though not essential
• Commercial, proactive and confident operating in fast-paced, international deal teams
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
