Corporate Solicitor - Associate

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join this leading global law firm as they strengthen their private equity practice. The successful candidate will join a growing private equity and sponsor-focused offering advising leading global investors and financial institutions on complex, high-value transactions.


  • Title: Associate
  • Salary: £200,000 - £250,000
  • Location: London
  • Job pattern: Permanent, full-time
  • Hybrid working: Yes
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 PQE + Experience in Private Equity

The role will involve significant client-facing responsibility across a range of private equity and M&A matters, including:


  • Leveraged buyouts
  • Sponsor-led acquisitions and disposals
  • Structuring and negotiating management equity plans
  • Co-investment arrangements and rollover equity
  • Shareholder agreements


The London team represents prominent private equity sponsors on some of the most high-profile deals in the City. Furthermore, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a Partner specialising in Sovereign wealth fund work.

Who they are looking for

Applicants should demonstrate:


  • 4–7 years’ post-qualification experience
  • Strong private equity and M&A credentials including demonstrable experience in leveraged buyouts and experience structuring and negotiating management equity plans and co-investment arrangements
  • Experience acting on sponsor mandates
  • Strong technical ability and commercial judgement coupled with excellent interpersonal skills
