An ambitious London-headquartered accountancy practice are seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join our fast growing, advisory-led Corporate Tax Team. The tax team operates with dedicated Corporate and Personal Tax departments, offering strong technical collaboration and clear progression opportunities. The role offers significant exposure to high value advisory work, direct partner interaction, and ownership of a diverse client portfolio.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially-minded tax professional who enjoys combining complex compliance delivery with meaningful advisory involvement, including structuring, international projects, and transaction support.
Responsibilities:
Prepare or review advisory projects on transaction work and structuring with international exposure
Lead and review complex corporation tax compliance assignments, including specialist areas such as REIT compliance or AVEC claims
Manage your own client portfolio, including the full compliance lifecycle while supporting partners and clients with high-quality technical input
Act as a trusted point of contact for clients, HMRC and third parties on a wide range of corporate tax matters
Provide tax insights to colleagues across the firm and ensure clients are referred appropriately to other teams where beneficial
Undertake technical research and prepare clear, pragmatic recommendations
Line manage and support the development of junior team members, including delivering training sessions such as Lunch & Learns
Collaborate with partners on business development initiatives and contribute to internal knowledge sharing
About you:
Strong technical corporate tax expertise with the ability to apply it commercially in both a compliance and an advisory context
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to build credibility quickly
Proactive solutions-focused mindset with strong analytical ability and attention to detail
Collaborative approach, supporting colleagues across the team and wider firm
Well organised, decisive thinker able to manage deadlines and take ownership of work
Strong IT proficiency and willingness to engage with new tools and systems
Strong academic background with ACA/ACCA/CTA qualifications
Demonstrable corporate tax experience gained in a professional environment, including complex compliance and exposure to advisory work
Proven track record of delivering high-quality service and developing strong internal and external relationships
Although REIT tax experience is advantageous, training and support can be provided
