Our client seeks an SC Cleared Cost Engineer to d evelop and maintain detailed cost estimates for all phases of their digital transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain detailed cost estimates across all project phases, collaborating closely with project teams and stakeholders.
Oversee project budgets, tracking expenditures and providing accurate forecasts to identify potential variances early.
Implement cost control measures, generate comprehensive reports, and communicate financial status regularly to ensure transparency.
Conduct risk and variance analysis, recommending mitigation strategies and performing sensitivity analyses to understand financial impacts of changes.
Engage with procurement, contractors, and suppliers to secure cost-effective solutions and ensure value for money.
Ensure all activities adhere to defence financial regulations, maintaining thorough documentation and compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline; professional certifications (eg, CCP, PMP, AACE) preferred.
Proven experience in cost engineering, project controls, or financial management within defence, aerospace, or similarly complex environments.
Skilled in cost estimation tools, financial management software, and analytical techniques with strong attention to detail.
