This job role offers the successful individual the chance to further develop their skillset and join a leading supplier of automotive components. The Cost Estimator will be responsible for ensuring that cost estimates are completed throughout the enquiry and quotation process. Further Responsibilities will include: *Full control of the enquiry process and cost book ensuring cost estimates are prepared throughout. *Estimating manufacturing batch sizes and stock holding to ensure cost estimates are prepared correctly. *Investigating production methods and product types *Maintain contact with all perspective and existing customers *To assist in identifying the most suitable contacts at design, engineering and purchasing in each OEM and relevant tier companies. *To ensure that quotations are followed up in a timely manner and that customer receives cost breakdown information as required.
