Cost Estimator Worker Status: PAYE only Location: Basingstoke, UK Expected Duration: Minimum 12 months Project/Role Description and Main Responsibilities: Main responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Prepare cost estimates for services, equipment, construction, and sub-contracted services based on technical specifications and bills of materials developed by the Engineering Departments. Collaborate with other departments when tender and cost information is required from suppliers and sub-contractors. Prepare cost estimating methodology report narratives, including descriptions of methodologies, data sources, inclusions, exclusions, and other key information covering cost estimating activities. Prepare Capital Expenditures Cost Estimates (CAPEX) in line with company-provided engineering deliverables, requirements, and CBS. Conduct cost trends analysis, price analysis, market analysis, and cost benchmarking. Review third-party estimates, company estimates, and analyze estimates submitted by the company; perform estimate scaling (up/down) and sensitivity analysis.
