Counterbalance and Reach FLT Driver (Dayshift)

SMS are recruiting an experienced Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Driver to join one of our high-profile automotive manufacturing clients. This role involves supporting production and warehouse operations by safely transporting materials, components, and finished parts across the site.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating Counterbalance and Reach FLT to move materials safely around production and storage areas
* Supplying components to assembly and manufacturing lines
* Loading and unloading vehicles, containers, and stillages
* Transporting finished products to despatch areas
* Stock movement, allocation and scanning where required
* Maintaining high standards of safety, housekeeping, and equipment checks
* Working to set production schedules and supporting wider warehouse tasks when required
Requirements
* Valid Counterbalance and Reach FLT licence (NPORS / ITSSAR / RTITB accepted)
* Previous FLT experience in manufacturing, automotive, or warehouse environments
* Ability to follow safe systems of work and complete daily FLT checks
* Good teamwork, communication, and reliability
Working Hours
Dayshift - 7am - 3pm Monday to Friday
Pay Rate
£12.96 per hour
