Salary: £13.17 per hour (rising to £13.53 after training)

Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Pure Staff Ltd are currently recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver on behalf of our client based in Tewkesbury. Our client is a well-established supplier of dairy products across the UK, offering a clean and organised working environment and long-term career opportunities.

Your role as a Counterbalance Forklift Driver

  • Safely unload trailers using a counterbalance forklift truck
  • Move stock between warehouse and yard areas
  • Load goods onto HGVs and vans for delivery
  • Maintain accurate stock movement and follow safety procedures
  • Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to meet daily targets

Requirements

  • Valid and in-date Counterbalance Forklift Licence (RTITB or ITSSAR preferred)
  • Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift
  • Good awareness of warehouse safety and procedures
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
  • Willingness to work on a rotating shift pattern

Pay & Hours

  • Hourly Rate: £13.17 per hour, rising to £13.53 after successful completion of training
    • Shift Pattern: Rotating weekly
    - Week 1: Monday to Saturday, 07:00 - 16:30
    • Week 2: Monday to Saturday, 09:00 - 18:30
    * Saturday Shift: 07:00 - 15:30/16:00
  • Working Week: Minimum 37.5 hours, 5 days over 7 on a rota basis
