The Role: Birmingham Cover Supervisor

As a Cover Supervisor working in Birmingham, you will play a vital role in ensuring student learning continues seamlessly during teacher absences. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

Classroom Leadership: Independently supervising full classes of students across Birmingham's diverse secondary schools.
Curriculum Delivery: Delivering pre-set lesson plans across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (all subjects).
Behaviour Management: Maintaining a positive, focused, and safe learning environment using effective classroom management techniques.
School Support: Providing additional support to Birmingham school communities, including exam invigilation and administrative tasks as needed.Candidate Requirements

We are looking for candidates who are passionate about education in Birmingham and meet the following criteria:

School Experience: Previous experience working in a UK secondary school setting (or similar youth-leadership role).
Confidence: The ability to command a classroom and engage with Birmingham students of various backgrounds.
Adaptability: A flexible approach to working in different educational environments across the city.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with Birmingham school staff and pupils.
