Cover Supervisor – Blackburn

Humly is working in partnership with secondary schools in Blackburn to recruit confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to support with classroom cover across Key Stages 3 and 4.

This role involves supervising classes during teacher absence, ensuring pupils remain engaged with pre-set work and maintaining a positive learning environment. It is well suited to individuals with experience working with young people who are looking to gain experience within a secondary school setting.

What You’ll Be Doing

Supervising classes in the absence of the class teacher

*

Delivering pre-set work and ensuring pupils stay on task

*

Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies

*

Supporting pupils’ engagement and learning

*

Providing feedback to teaching and pastoral staff where required
