Job Title: Cover Supervisor

GSL Education are seeking confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in a number of secondary schools in Worksop, supporting classroom learning and ensuring continuity of education during teacher absence.

About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain on task and complete pre-set work. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals considering a career in education or those with experience working with young people in any capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise classes during teacher absence across KS3 and KS4 Ensure students complete set work and remain focused Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies Maintain a safe, structured and supportive learning environment Support student engagement across a range of subjects Report any issues or concerns to relevant school staff Follow lesson plans provided by teaching staff Requirements:

Experience working with young people (schools, coaching, youth work or similar) Strong communication and behaviour management skills Confident, adaptable and professional approach Ability to build rapport with secondary-aged students Reliable and consistent availability This is a great opportunity for a Cover Supervisor in Worksop to gain valuable experience across a range of secondary school settings.
