Horizon Teachers is seeking a reliable and motivated Cover Supervisor to join a secondary school in Ealing, West London. This is a fantastic chance to gain valuable classroom experience and play a key role in supporting students progress.


About you:
  • Previous experience working with young people, ideally in a school or education setting.
  • Confident in managing groups of students and promoting positive behaviour.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine interest in supporting the education and development of young people.

Key responsibilities:
  • Supervise students in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that they stay on task and follow the lesson plan provided
  • Assist students with any questions they may have about the work and provide guidance where needed.
  • Maintain order and discipline in the classroom, following the schools behaviour policies.
  • Step into different classrooms and subjects as needed, quickly adjusting to varying classroom dynamics.
