Are you passionate about education and supporting young people? We are seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in schools throughout Liverpool.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning when teaching staff are absent, ensuring a positive and productive classroom environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing classroom activities and delivering pre-set lesson plans in the absence of teachers. Your focus will be on engaging students, maintaining behaviour standards, and supporting their educational progress. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in education or care to further develop their skills within a supportive environment.

Key requirements:

* Strong behaviour management and classroom leadership skills

* Excellent communication and organisational skills

* Ability to stay calm and focused in dynamic learning environments

* Willingness to assist with personal care if required

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply

Duties include:

* Delivering pre-set work in the absence of the class teacher

* Managing the classroom environment to foster positive behaviour and engagement

* Supporting students’ independence and constructive learning

* Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and wellbeing teams

* Ensuring safeguarding and wellbeing protocols are followed

* Reporting student progress and incidents to relevant staff
