Job Title: Lead Cover Supervisor (Small Group)
Location: Derby City
Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 15:00 (Term Time Only)
Contract: Long-term, Full-time

The Role
We are seeking a resilient, high-energy, and experienced Cover Supervisor to take the lead with a specific small group of four energetic and lively Key stage 4 boys. This is not a standard "sit-at-the-desk" cover role; we need a strong personality who can command respect while building a positive rapport.

You will be responsible for delivering learning activities, managing classroom behavior with a firm but fair approach, and ensuring these students remain engaged and on-task throughout the school day.

Key Requirements

* Strong Presence: Ability to take the lead immediately and manage challenging, high-energy dynamics.

* Educational Experience: Previous experience working in a school setting, PRU, or with students who require extra behavioral support is essential.

* Consistency: As this is a long-term role, we need someone dedicated to providing stability for these pupils.

* Adaptability: The ability to think on your feet and pivot educational activities to keep the group focused.
