The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning by supervising classes during teacher absence and maintaining a positive, focused classroom environment.

• Supervise pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
• Promote positive behaviour in line with school values and policies
• Encourage engagement, effort, and resilience in learners
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents where appropriate
• Support the schools inclusive and aspirational ethos

The Ideal Candidate:

• Confident, calm, and well-organised
• Passionate about supporting young people
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• Experience working with children or young people is desirable
• Graduates, aspiring teachers, and experienced cover supervisors are encouraged to apply
