Cover Supervisors Required

Location: William Lovell Academy

Contract: Full-time, Part-time & Flexible SupplyStart date: ImmediatePay: £95 - £100 per day

Company Overview:

The Supply Register is a managed service provider working in partnership with the Lincoln Anglican Academy Trust. We are seeking confident, proactive Cover Supervisors to support our partner schools with short-term and daily cover needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, youth workers, sports coaches, or anyone experienced in leading groups of young people. You do not need QTS for this role.

Position Overview:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during teacher absence, ensuring pupils remain engaged, focused, and supported while completing pre-set work. You will play a key part in maintaining a positive learning environment and helping pupils continue progressing during periods of staff absence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans across a range of subjects.
• Maintain a calm, orderly classroom environment and manage behaviour effectively.
• Provide clear instructions and ensure pupils stay on task throughout the lesson.
• Support pupils with their work where appropriate and encourage positive participation.
• Follow school policies and report any concerns to relevant staff.
• Build positive professional relationships with pupils and school teams.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience working with young people in any setting (school-based experience is beneficial but not essential).
• Strong communication and classroom-management skills.
• Confidence, resilience, and the ability to lead a class independently.
• A genuine interest in education and supporting young people.
• Willingness to undergo training and ongoing professional development.
