A Cover Supervisor is needed in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London.

This Cover Supervisor position will be part time and short term/temporary in the first instance.

If appointed as a Cover Supervisor, your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Covering different classes in the absence of teachers Managing pupil behaviour effectively and promoting positive behaviour Actively engaging with pupils and ensuring the school's behaviour policy is followed Holding good understanding of ICT and how to carry out basic administrative tasks Demonstrating a positive attitude and adapting to different situations

The rates of pay for this Cover Supervisor post will be between £82.14 to £130 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

The School

An 'Outstanding' Secondary School & Sixth Form in the London Borough of Merton.

It is a mixed, 11 - 18, non-selective school with a wide demographic of pupils and staff.

90% of students stay in education or employment after Key Stage 4.

The site has its own dedicated SEN Support Centre and a variety of sports facilities.

Ofsted have noted there is positive culture of learning and a strong sense of community.

Requirements

You will be considered if you're a recent Graduate or experienced Cover Supervisor.

Applications are also welcome if you're a British trained Cover Supervisor or overseas trained Cover Supervisor.

All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this role as a Cover Supervisor:

Right to work in the UK Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS UK Bachelor's Degree or an overseas equivalent Experience of working with children/teenagers or as a Cover Supervisor in UK schools
