As we expand our services across Newmarket and surrounding areas, we are seeking a passionate and experienced CQC Registered Manager to lead our team and drive excellent standards of care.
The Role
As the Registered Manager, you will hold responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations and maintaining a safe, effective, and caring environment for service users and staff. This is a key leadership role requiring strong operational insight, organisational skills, and a genuine commitment to exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and support the care team to deliver outstanding domiciliary care services.
- Ensure full compliance with CQC legislation, guidelines, and key lines of enquiry (KLOEs).
- Maintain up-to-date care plans, risk assessments, policies, and quality assurance systems.
- Drive recruitment, onboarding, and development of staff.
- Oversee scheduling, capacity planning, and safe service delivery.
- Build strong relationships with service users, families, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Manage budgets, resources, and operational performance.
- Prepare for inspections, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager in domiciliary care or a strong Deputy ready to step up.
- Excellent working knowledge of CQC regulations and best practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and people-management skills.
- NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Leadership & Management for Health and Social Care (or working toward).
- Highly organised, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality care.
- A compassionate, professional, and person-centred approach.
