Registered Manager – Domiciliary Care
Location: Chester (candidates must live locally or within reasonable commuting distance)
Salary: £40,000–£50,000 per year DOE

C4 Care are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead its domiciliary care service in Chester. The service is established and expanding rapidly, having recently secured two major new contracts. This is an exciting opportunity for a values-driven manager who is passionate about high-quality, person-centred care and confident leading a service through a period of growth.

The Registered Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the service, ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations and the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014. You will have overall responsibility for quality, safeguarding, compliance, staff performance, and service development, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and responsive care.

The role involves leading and developing both care and office teams, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, training, supervision, and performance management. You will ensure workforce capacity meets service demand, promote a positive and open culture, and embed company values and CQC expectations at all levels of the service.

You will play a key role in supporting service growth, including increasing delivered care hours, mobilising new contracts, developing local referral pathways, and improving operational efficiency. The role also requires strong reporting and governance, including management of audits, action plans, complaints, safeguarding concerns, and ongoing quality assurance.

Applicants must have a minimum of two years’ experience as a Registered Manager within domiciliary care, hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care or equivalent, and demonstrate strong knowledge of CQC inspections and regulatory compliance. Candidates must live in or near Chester and hold a full UK driving licence.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm, with a 4:00pm finish on Fridays. Some flexibility is required to meet the needs of the service.
