Crane Engineering Supervisor – Electrical \n\nWe are looking for an experienced Crane Engineering Supervisor to lead a team of field engineers across Yorkshire and the M62 corridor. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is hands-on, forward-thinking and excited by innovation, automation and modern technology. Ideally, you will be based within 45 minutes of Sheffield to ensure easy access to customers in the region.\n\nAs a Crane Engineering Supervisor, you will manage a team of four engineers including apprentices.

You will provide day-to-day leadership and mentoring while ensuring that work is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards of customer service.\n\nWhat you will be doing as Crane Engineering Supervisor\n\nSupervising LOLER inspections and maintenance using digital tools to make processes faster and easier\nLeading service and repair work on lifting equipment\nDriving crane modernisation and improvement projects\nTaking part in research and development projects to trial new technology and solutions\nSupporting new crane and hoist installations\nDelivering systems such as collision avoidance and anti-sway\nResponding to breakdowns quickly and effectively to minimise downtime\nWhat we are looking for\n\nApprentice-trained engineer with electrical and mechanical skills\nHNC or degree in Electrical Engineering preferred\nIPAF scissor lift licence – essential\nLEEA qualifications desirable, or willingness to work towards them\nStrong leadership skills with the ability to coach and support a small team\nSafety-conscious, physically fit and comfortable working at heights\nA problem solver with a keen interest in learning new technologies\nWhat you can expect\n\nOngoing training and professional development, including support to gain LEEA Diplomas\nOpportunities to work on research and development projects that push innovation in the industry\nA positive environment that values initiative and fresh ideas\nBenefits\n\nCompetitive salary with regular overtime opportunities – OTE circa £65,000\nCompany pension scheme\nCompany van and iPhone provided\nBonus scheme\nAll bank holidays off\nThis is a superb opportunity for a motivated Crane Engineering Supervisor who wants to take the next step in their career and play a key role in shaping the future of lifting technology.\n\nAt Venatu Recruitment Group, your privacy matters.
