Overview

We are currently seeking a Crash Test Technician to support vehicle testing activities. This role is ideal for someone with a hands-on mechanical background who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, technical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare vehicles for crash testing, including strip-down and build-up activities
Install and remove test components, including EV Batteries and instrumentation as required
Support pre-test setup to ensure vehicles meet test specifications
Carry out post-test activities, including the safe removal of batteries and other components
Inspect vehicles following testing and report any findings
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Work closely with engineers and test teams to ensure all deadlines are met

Requirements

Previous experience in a mechanical, automotive, or workshop environment
Data Collection & Reporting
Good hands-on skills with tools and vehicle components
Understanding of health and safety procedures
Ability to follow technical instructions and work to strict processes
Strong attention to detail
Flexible and proactive approach to work

Desirable

Experience in crash testing or vehicle testing environments
Knowledge of high-voltage systems and battery handling
Relevant automotive qualifications
