Job Title: Creative Psychotherapist, Play Therapist Location: New Barn School Berkshire RG20 8HZ Salary: Up to £52,000 DOE Hours: 15 hours per week, Flexible on 2 days a week Contract: Permanent Essential: Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle About the role We are looking for an experienced Psychotherapist to join an established school with a friendly team, multi-disciplinary in-house therapy team and connected to a nationwide network of specialist therapists and leadership. We welcome applications specialised in trauma informed and neuro-diversity affirming education and therapy. In this exciting role, you will work collaboratively to deliver bespoke assessment, and intervention plans for pupils with complex communication needs, autism and associated learning and emotional needs. You will implement a holistic, therapeutic approach to helping our pupils in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable and healthy. Undertaking all aspects of Psychotherapy clinical duties, you will adhere to professional and regulatory guidelines, carrying out specialist individual assessments and interventions, and preparing relevant documentation, including writing reports. A significant element of this role will be working alongside the onsite clinical team to continue to develop the clinical service provision, including providing support and training to staff and parents. For more information on the group please visit: Essential Criteria: Appropriate Psychotherapeutic qualification Registered member of one or more of the following bodies: HCPC, BACP, BABCP, PTUK, NCPC, UKCP Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities Experience of working with people with neurodivergence and/or complex needs (e.g., complex trauma, neurodevelopmental differences, mental health needs) Ability to work independently as agreed under supervision Experience of multi-professional work teams or services within designated speciality Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle What s in it for you?
