Join Creative Assembly and craft deep and detailed games that last, entertaining millions of players across the globe for decades.
The Role
Creative Assembly is looking for a Creator Engagement Manager to join our established Total War community team. In this role, you’ll support titles across the franchise by recruiting and engaging core creators, developing standout campaigns, and helping our community of storytellers to tell the story of Total War.
As Creator Engagement Manager you will lead on all core creator activity across Total War, ensuring the overall health and success of our programs, improving the experience of its members, and helping to find new ways to add value to creator channels and their audiences. You will feed into exciting campaign plans and identify the opportunities that will elevate our partners’ channels, as well as add your support to our teams at SEGA Publishing, providing key insights in the creation of their own campaigns.
As part of this player‑first team you will demonstrate your creative thinking and showcase your skills working across creator‑led marketing to enrich the Total War experience.
This role offers a great deal of creativity and freedom to a candidate who has a good understanding of the games industry and the role of creators within it, challenging you to drive and evolve an established programme of core creators. The ideal candidate will prioritise creator success and help us to grow the Total War Community.
What you’ll be doing
Manage the complete cycle of core creator recruitment, growth, engagement, and support across our Total War creator programs. You’ll be investing in their success and helping them to develop the best possible relationship with their audiences across the world.
Draw from your understanding of our titles and the wider strategy genre, using your passion for games as a tool that helps to inform your work.
Provide support to our brand marketing teams and their vision for our campaigns.
Collaborate with stakeholders across SEGA Publishing on their paid campaign opportunities with creators outside of our networks.
Partner with our Senior Beta Program Manager to discover essential feedback within our Creator Programs, and deliver that to our development partners across Creative Assembly’s studios and help to make your mark on the future of Total War.
What we are looking for
Essential
Experience in creator engagement, and creator‑led marketing within games or entertainment associated industries.
An understanding of the creator landscape across its most active spaces (YouTube, Twitch, Discord, etc.).
Strong skillsets in communication and the ability to self‑manage.
Creative thinking that you can reinforce with the right data.
Experience in client and stakeholder management.
Willingness and availability to travel.
Desirable
A natural connector, bringing people together to make things happen.
Education or experience in a relevant field such as community management, public relations, or brand marketing.
On‑camera experience (hosting and presenting).
Good understanding of the Total War series and the strategy genre at large.
Management of agencies and external partners.
Experience within the video game industry.
A passion for history, and an understanding of its capacity to inspire exploration of its themes.
Knowledge of WARHAMMER properties, including WARHAMMER 40K.
