Are you an experienced Credit Controller from a professional services background ready to hit the ground running at a growing firm in Central London?
Our client is a fast growing, professional services firm based in the heart of the City with +pound;4m in turnover. They are looking to recruit a Credit Controller in this newly created role to work closely alongside the Practice Manager.
Responsibilities include:
Proactively chase outstanding invoices
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Negotiating payment plans where appropriate and escalate problem accounts
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client accounts
Monitoring credit limits and assess credit risks for new and existing clients
Producing weekly and monthly aged debtor reports
Tracking KPIs such as debtor days and collection performance
Working closely with partners and fee earners to resolve billing queries
Liaising with the billing team to ensure invoices are accurate and issued promptly
Maintaining detailed records of all credit control activity
Skills and experience required:
Previous experience in credit control within professional services
Strong communication and negotiation skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines
Professional, calm, and client-focused approach
