Our client is looking for someone who isn’t just chasing debt — but driving smarter decision-making, partnering with sales and operations, and owning the credit function end to end.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Taking full ownership of the credit control process, ensuring payments are made on time.

Building strong relationships with customers’ AP teams to prevent delays and resolve issues fast.

Partnering with finance and non-finance teams to balance commercial opportunities with risk.

Monitoring credit limits and leading weekly credit review meetings, flagging risks and opportunities.

Producing daily credit reporting and supporting monthly reporting packs with clear, actionable insights.

Liaising with the sales team and credit insurers to support trading and minimise exposure.

Driving process improvements to reduce debtor days and strengthen cash flow.

What We’re Looking For:

Proven senior credit control experience in a fast-paced commercial environment.

Highly analytical and commercially minded, confident influencing at all levels.

Advanced Excel skills – comfortable manipulating data and building reports.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills across finance and non-finance functions.

Experience producing monthly reporting packs and presenting key findings to leadership.

Credit risk management expertise.

ICM qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
