Credit Controller Initial 6-Month ContractOffice-Based | Burton-upon-Trent | £28,000 £29,000Eaton Syalon is recruiting a Credit Controller to join a well-established, reputable business based in Burton-upon-Trent on an initial 6-month contract.This is a full-time, office-based role, ideal for someone with previous Credit Control experience who enjoys a varied, end-to-end position within a fast-paced and supportive team environment.Review customer credit profiles and maintain appropriate credit limitsManage customer accounts to ensure payments are received in line with agreed terms, following up on overdue balancesPost and allocate cash receipts to the correct customer accountsRecord incoming queries promptly and work closely with internal teams to resolve them within agreed timeframesComplete credit checks for both new and existing customers in line with internal policies and insurance requirementsInvestigate and resolve any customer debit notes or discrepancies efficientlyPrepare regular reports highlighting overdue accounts for reviewEscalate problematic or aged debt to the AR Manager where appropriateRaise ad-hoc invoices, including recharges, rentals, and asset-related billingsProcess credit notes in accordance with internal controls and approval processesDistribute customer statements within set deadlinesSupport rebate calculations and process the relevant credit notesAbout You:Previous experience in a Credit Control or office-based finance roleStrong communication skills, with the ability to confidently liaise with customers and internal stakeholdersGood organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlinesA proactive approach with strong attention to detailAvailable to start immediately or at short noticeJBRP1_UKTJ
