About the Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Hire Fee Earner to join a growing litigation team. Due to an increase in caseload, the department is expanding and seeking a motivated individual to handle a litigated fast-track caseload on behalf of Claimants.

This role requires a confident litigator who can manage files independently from issue through to settlement or trial.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a full caseload of litigated credit hire matters Handle Part 7 claims from issue to conclusion Work within the DCP (Damages Claims Portal) Review files and determine case strategy Assess liability and quantum, review offers, and make settlement offers Draft reports in line with Credit Hire Organisation (CHO) requirements Liaise with Defendant solicitors, insurers, and CHOs Take client and witness statements Draft court documentation and correspondence Prepare and draft witness statements Negotiate settlements Instruct Counsel where appropriate Prepare cases for trial Additional Duties

Maintain and update Management Information (MI) spreadsheets Provide support on colleagues' files where required (e.g. holiday cover) About You
