Crime Solicitor — Position Overview: You will manage a varied and challenging caseload of serious criminal matters, representing clients at all stages of proceedings while delivering high-quality legal advice and advocacy. Key Responsibilities of the Crime Solicitor:
Managing a caseload of serious criminal matters Conducting advocacy in both Magistrates’ and Crown Courts Advising clients throughout the legal process Building and maintaining strong client relationships Supporting and mentoring junior solicitors and trainees Working collaboratively within a busy and dynamic team
Requirements of the Crime Solicitor:
Qualified Solicitor with 4–5 years’ PQE in criminal law Strong experience handling serious criminal cases Excellent advocacy, communication and negotiation skills Ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively Commitment to social justice and client care Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment Police Station Accreditation and Duty Solicitor status desirable
