Location: EC Postcode, Central London

Excellent Earning opportunity through strong Salary, OT & Bonuses (£65,000-£80,000 POT earnings)

Shift Pattern: Continental (Days & Nights) – 4 Engineer Rota

Environment: High‑Resilience / Mission‑Critical Corporate Estate A leading client‑side organisation is seeking an experienced Critical Shift Engineer to join their in‑house engineering team at a flagship, mission‑critical site in the heart of the EC postcode.

What You’ll Be Doing

▪️ Deliver PPM and reactive maintenance across all critical electrical & mechanical systems

▪️ Support key infrastructure including UPS, generators, LV distribution, switchgear, CRAC/CRAH units & chillers

▪️ Carry out isolations, switching, and permit‑to‑work in a strictly compliant environment

▪️ Respond to incidents and faults, performing rapid recovery while maintaining uptime

▪️ Monitor and operate BMS/EMS, ensuring real‑time system stability

▪️ Lead and contribute to incident reports, root‑cause analysis, and resilience improvement plans

▪️ Maintain accurate engineering logs, statutory compliance records, and audit‑ready documentation

▪️ Work collaboratively within a 4‑person continental shift team, ensuring flawless handovers

What You’ll Bring

18th Edition

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Prior experience in banking, data centres, telecoms, pharma, or other mission‑critical environments

⚡ Strong competency across LV systems (HV exposure an advantage)

Excellent fault‑finding and diagnostic capability in pressured environments
