Job Title: Critical Shift Technician Location: Slough, UK Contract Type: Permanent Shift-Based (24/7 Rota) Salary: Up to £51,000+ Overtime ROLE OVERVIEW Trevett Services are recruiting a Critical Shift Technician to join a high-performing engineering team within a Data Centre / Critical Environment in Slough. This role operates on ashift rota and is suited to an electrically biased engineer with experience in critical environments. You will be responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and fault resolution of all electrical and associated building services systems, ensuring site uptime, compliance, and adherence to strict SLA and KPI requirements. Working closely with the Shift Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining business-critical infrastructure. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Carry out all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) in line with statutory requirements and site schedules
Complete reactive maintenance and fault diagnosis on electrical and building services systems
Operate and maintain critical systems to industry standards and codes of practice
Identify, rectify, and escalate faults where required
Maintain effective communication with the Shift Supervisor regarding plant status, isolations, and ongoing works
