The business supports quarrying, recycling, aggregates, and demolition sectors throughout the Central Belt, delivering expert service and support on a wide range of mobile crushers and screeners.

Role Summary

As a Crushing & Screening Engineer, you will cover Glasgow, Edinburgh, and the wider Central Belt, providing field-based service, maintenance, and repair support on mobile crushing and screening equipment.

This role is heavily focused on crushers and screeners, requiring strong mechanical and hydraulic diagnostic skills, along with the ability to work independently across customer sites including quarries, recycling centres, and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

Provide on-site service, fault finding, and repairs on mobile crushers and screeners.

Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical faults.

Carry out planned servicing and preventative maintenance.

Support with commissioning and set-up of crushing and screening equipment.

Optimise machine performance and reduce downtime through proactive maintenance.

Complete service reports, parts records, and job documentation accurately.

Liaise with parts and service teams to ensure efficient turnaround times.

Maintain high health & safety standards across all Scottish customer sites.

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience working on mobile crushing and screening equipment (jaw, cone, impact crushers and screeners).

Strong mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding ability.

Experience within quarrying, aggregates, recycling, or heavy plant environments.

Ability to manage your own workload across the Central Belt region.

Strong customer-facing skills and professional attitude.

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Scotland.
