Design Build Search is seeking a Senior CSA Design Engineer based in the London DocklandsOur client is a well-established main contractor operating across Ireland, the UK, and Northern Europe, delivering projects in critical sectors such as data centres, life sciences, aviation, and high-value manufacturing.They’re currently looking to bring on an experienced Senior CSA Design Engineer to join a major data centre project in London Docklands. This is a great opportunity to get involved in a high-profile build and work as part of a strong, collaborative team.In this position, you’ll take the lead on the design and delivery of Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) packages from start to finish. You’ll be responsible for making sure designs are practical, compliant, and ultimately deliver the best outcome for the project.What You’ll Be DoingLeading the development of CSA design packages and making sure everything meets project specs and regulationsReviewing designs with a focus on buildability and finding the most efficient solutionsManaging packages through all stages – from early design and costing through to delivery on siteWorking closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teamsCoordinating with MEP and design teams to resolve any clashes or challengesKeeping an eye on progress, flagging risks early, and helping keep things on trackProviding input on value engineering and alternative design solutions where neededEnsuring drawings, reports, and documentation are accurate and up to a high standardAttending design meetings and site reviews as requiredSupporting a strong culture of health, safety, and quality across the projectWhat They’re Looking ForAround 5+ years’ experience in a CSA design role on large-scale construction projectsExperience in data centres or other complex/critical environments would be a big plusA degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering (or similar)Chartered status is desirable but not essentialGood understanding of UK building regulationsComfortable using AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM toolsSomeone who can manage multiple workstreams and keep things organisedStrong communication skills and the ability to work well with different teamsWhat’s On OfferThe chance to work on a major, high-profile data centre projectA supportive team environment with plenty of collaborationStrong opportunities to grow and progress your careerCompetitive salary and package depending on experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
