This position offers valuable experience across multiple trades and the opportunity to develop a diverse skill set within the construction industry.DutiesAssisting with general site clearance, loading, and unloading materials Supporting trades such as roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, plastering, masonry, carpentry, and fabrication as required Handling hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision Assisting with the installation of scaffolding and temporary structures Preparing sites for work by organising materials and ensuring safety measures are in place Supporting site teams with tasks such as mixing materials, moving equipment, and maintaining cleanliness Following schematics and instructions from supervisors to ensure accurate work execution Assisting with construction painting and finishing tasks as needed Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all timesExperiencePrevious experience in construction or labouring roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with a variety of trades such as roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, plastering, masonry, or carpentry is desirable Experience using hand tools and power tools on-site is beneficial Knowledge of construction schematics or technical drawings is a plus Ability to work effectively within a team environment and follow instructions accurately A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and adhering to safety standards is essential This role provides an excellent foundation for individuals looking to build a career in the construction industry while contributing to diverse projects across the sector.JBRP1_UKTJ
