Customer Service Advisor (Transport & Logistics) Location: Runcorn Salary: £28,000 (depending on experience) Full-time | Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm (flexible) 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
Adaptable recruitment are pleased to be supporting a well-established transport and logistics business in recruiting a Customer Service Advisor to join their busy operations team. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you'll play a key part in ensuring smooth coordination between customers and the planning team.
What you will be doing:
Creating and updating transport jobs accurately within internal systems Managing failed load reports and supporting rebooking of deliveries Monitoring and organising the team inbox, ensuring queries are directed efficiently Communicating with customers via phone and email, providing timely updates Coordinating late deliveries and keeping customers informed Checking daily job completion and ensuring all records are accurate Supporting planners with building efficient and cost-effective loads Updating customer portals with live job information Investigating and resolving customer or operational queries Maintaining daily reports, including demurrage tracking
