Shift: Two-week rotating shift pattern:
Week 1 - Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:30
Week 2 - Monday to Thursday, 09:00-17:30, Friday 08:00-16:30
Omega is working with a leading engineering components supplier, seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation known for delivering high-quality products and exceptional service to a wide range of industries.
Responsibilities - Customer Service Representative
Proactively update customers on existing orders, advising of any delays where necessary.
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using the internal CRM system.
Liaise with internal teams, particularly Purchasing, to ensure smooth progression of orders through to dispatch.
Coordinate customer returns and credits, ensuring all processes are followed correctly.
Respond to internal and external customer queries within agreed timescales.
Handle live chat enquiries promptly, providing clear and efficient resolutions.
Prioritise and manage daily tasks as outlined in the Customer Services team rota.
Maintain a professional, friendly, and service-driven approach to all customer interactions.
Requirements - Customer Service Representative
Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, with the ability to learn bespoke systems.
Experience with sales order processing systems beneficial (full training provided).
Excellent communication skills with a confident, friendly telephone manner.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable managing high volumes of customer calls and enquiries.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
Problem-solving mindset with a proactive and process-driven approach.
Minimum Grade C in English and Maths (or equivalent).
Previous customer-facing experience is preferred.
Experience working in a B2B environment is desirable.
