Brook Street Recruitment is working with our client in Armagh who is a fast-paced, customer-focused Customs Clearance Agent They specialise in delivering efficient and compliant customs solutions, ensuring our client's needs are met quickly and professionally.
Role Summary
As a Customs Clearance Agent, you will be responsible for processing import and export documentation, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and delivering excellent customer service in a high-pressure environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Process import/export documentation in line with customs regulations. * Calculate duties and VAT for CDS and AIS imports. * Verify invoices, commodity codes, and EORI numbers for accuracy. * Request and file direct representation authorisations. * Communicate with customers via email and phone. * Handle red, orange, or yellow routings and notify customers of delays. * Complete supplementary declarations (office hours and on call). * Stay current with customs regulations and participate in training. * Manage shipping requests and provide booking confirmations.
Criteria
