This is a great opportunity for someone with customs knowledge looking to develop their career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess import and export customs clearances across air, sea and road freightComplete and submit declarations accurately and within required timeframesLiaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment processingCheck and manage all required customs documentation, resolving any issuesCalculate duties and taxes and ensure timely clearance of shipmentsProvide regular updates and excellent service to customersManage shared inbox enquiries efficiently as part of the teamRequirementsPrevious experience in customs clearance (imports/exports) for a UK based freight forwarderGood understanding of UK/EU customs procedures and documentationFamiliarity with systems such as CDS, NCTS or Destin8 is advantageousKnowledge of Incoterms and the freight industryStrong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlinesWR Logistics are the #1 recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
