Responsible for ensuring the smooth and compliant clearance of import and export shipments within a freight forwarding environment. The role involves managing customs documentation, coordinating with internal teams and brokers, and resolving clearance issues to avoid delays.

• Prepare and submit accurate customs declarations
• Review shipping documents for compliance (invoices, packing lists, AWBs/BOLs)
• Liaise with customs brokers, HMRC, and internal operations teams
• Classify goods (HS codes) and calculate duties/VAT
• Monitor shipments and resolve clearance issues quickly
• Communicate with clients regarding documentation and shipment status
• Maintain accurate records in line with compliance requirements
