D1 Driver – Council Position

Supporting Children with Additional Needs & Elderly Residents

Rate: £15.57 per hour Hours: 35 HOURS PER WEEK MINIMUM

Location: Camden Requirement: Enhanced DBS & Full D1 Driving Licence

We are seeking reliable and caring D1 Drivers/Mini Bus Drivers to join a Passenger Transport Service. In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for safely transporting children with additional needs and/or elderly residents to and from schools, day centres and other essential destinations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide safe, punctual and professional transport services

* Support passengers with care, patience and respect

* Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues

* Work closely with passenger assistants and council staff

* Maintain excellent communication and safeguarding standards

About You:

* Hold a valid D1 licence

* Have an Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one)

* Friendly, dependable, and committed to providing high-quality support

* Comfortable working split-shift hours

* Experience working with vulnerable passengers is desirable but not essential
