Role Overview: We seek a seasoned Data Architect to join our team and partner with leading financial services clients. You will leverage your deep understanding of the financial industry and data architecture expertise to design and implement innovative solutions that enable clients to leverage their data as an asset. Your responsibilities include assessing client data needs, designing data architectures, and developing roadmaps aligned with their business and data strategies. You will translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring architecture alignment with business goals while considering regulatory compliance. Essential Skills & Experience: Strong understanding of the Financial Services Industry and how well-designed data architecture can help meet business objectives. Extensive knowledge of data architecture principles, including designing scalable, efficient, and secure data systems. Experience in designing and implementing data warehousing solutions, data lakes, and ETL processes, specifically for financial data. Proficiency in data modelling, both logical and physical, with familiarity in data normalization and denormalization techniques. Strong understanding of cloud-based data solutions and experience with platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Snowflake. Knowledge of advanced analytics tools, including creating dashboards, reports, and analytics for actionable insights. Understanding of data governance, data quality management, and data security, with adherence to financial regulatory standards. About the Candidate: Experience with cloud-based data solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Snowflake. Proficiency in logical and physical data modelling, with knowledge of normalization and denormalization. Strong understanding of the Financial Services Industry and how data architecture supports business objectives. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and business leaders. Experience with Data Quality Rules, DQ Dimensions, and triaging and resolution processes. Proactive in staying updated with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in data architecture and related Microsoft technologies, applying this knowledge to innovate in financial services.
