VIQU have partnered with an organisation seeking a Data Cabling Engineer to support telecoms installations across hospital sites in Birmingham. This Data Cabling Engineer role offers a mix of BAU and project work, ideal for a hands-on individual looking to grow within a stable environment.

Key Responsibilities

Terminate data outlets and patch panels to a high industry standard
Test structured cabling systems using a Fluke DTX 5000 tester
Accurately document installation activities and test results
Install and configure wireless access points across hospital sites
Support fibre cabling projects and gain exposure to additional technologies
Work collaboratively on-site (no lone working)
Adhere to CSCS/ESC regulations and strict health & safety standards
Key Requirements

Valid CSCS or ESC card (essential)
Minimum 3 years’ experience in data cabling or telecoms
Proven experience in terminating, installing, and testing structured cabling systems
Eligible for DBS clearance (processed by employer)
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between Birmingham sites
Based in or able to commute to Birmingham
Reliable, proactive, and trustworthy approach to work
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-based environment
