Job Title: Data Engineer Location: Warrington (site-based with occasional travel) Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (DOE) Working Pattern: Monday–Friday We’re seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Warrington team, delivering high-quality structured cabling installations for a range of commercial and industrial clients. You’ll be hands-on with installation, termination, and testing, working to industry standards while ensuring safety, efficiency, and precision on every project. Key Responsibilities * Install, terminate, and test Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, and fibre optic cabling. * Read and interpret site drawings and work schedules. * Carry out cable containment installation (trunking, tray, basket, conduit). * Perform fault-finding, troubleshooting, and remedial works. * Complete test results, labelling, and project documentation. * Work collaboratively with site supervisors and project managers to meet deadlines. * Maintain site Health & Safety compliance at all times. About You * Proven experience in data cabling installation across commercial or industrial projects. * Strong understanding of copper and fibre optic cabling standards. * Competent in using cable testers and certification equipment (e.g. Fluke). * Skilled in containment systems and cable management best practices. ...
