Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Data Center Planner to manage and optimize data center capacity, resources, and infrastructure. This role involves planning and coordinating data center operations, ensuring efficient utilization of power, cooling, space, and network resources, while maintaining compliance with safety and security standards. The ideal candidate will have expertise in datacenter infrastructure management, Wintel and RHEL environments, storage solutions, and backup/recovery strategies. Key Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and forecast datacenter capacity requirements (power, cooling, space, network) across one or more facilities. Collaborate with IT and facilities teams to define and manage hardware deployment roadmaps. Develop and maintain datacenter layout designs, rack elevations, and physical hardware placements. Monitor utilization of datacenter resources to identify potential constraints and drive optimization initiatives. Manage the datacenter inventory lifecycle, including asset tracking from procurement to decommission. Ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards for all datacenter operations.
