Data Migration Lead (EPIC)Location: Remote (UK-based projects) Job Type: Permanent | Full-TimeOverviewAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Data Migration Lead to join a specialist data services organisation working within the healthcare sector. This role will play a critical part in delivering large-scale digital transformation programmes across NHS Trusts, supporting the migration of data from legacy systems into modern Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform such as Epic.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development and execution of data migration strategies and plansManage end-to-end data migration activities across multiple workstreamsOversee data transformation tools and technologiesEnsure high standards of data quality through validation, cleansing, and assurance processesCollaborate with clinical teams, IT, infrastructure, and third-party vendorsManage risks, issues, and dependencies related to data migrationFacilitate stakeholder meetings and maintain clear communication across programmesProvide regular updates to programme boards and digital working groupsKey Skills & ExperienceProven experience leading data migration projects end-to-end, ideally within healthcareStrong understanding of NHS data models and statutory reporting requirementsExperience working with EHR systems (Oracle Health / Cerner Millennium preferred)Solid stakeholder management and communication skillsKnowledge of project management methodologies and toolsMinimum 3 years' experience with Microsoft T-SQL / SQL querying or similar RDBMSBackground as a Data Analyst or Data Migration SpecialistExperience in a client-facing or consultancy environmentStrong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools (e.g. MS Teams, Copilot)Familiarity with Jira and ETL tools such as SSISWhat's ExpectedA collaborative, team-oriented mindsetReliability and accountability in delivering high-quality workWillingness to learn, adapt, and take on new challengesPride in delivering successful outcomesJBRP1_UKTJ
