Ourclient,basedinLeicester,iscurrentlyrecruitingforaDataProtectionManagerona6monthtemporarycontract.
ThepositionisduetostartinJanuaryonafull-timebasis.Thehourlyrateisnegotiablebasedonexperienceforthisposition.
TheidealcandidatewillhaveexperienceworkingonLegalorSocialHousing,whilstbeingaQualifiedDataPractitionerwithplentyofexperienceinthesector.
Dutieswillinclude(butarenotlimitedto):
LeadtheGroupsongoingcompliancewiththelegalrequirementsofalldataprotectionlegislationacrossallcoreactivities
AppointedastheGroupsDataProtectionOfficer(DPO),includingliaison,consultationandcooperationwiththesupervisoryauthority
Toleadonanyinternal/externalauditsthatareundertakenonbehalfoftheGroupinagreeingauditscope,supportingtheauditprocessandrequirements,andrespondingtofindingsandrecommendations
ActasleadonallmatterspertainingtodataprotectionrightrequestsandensureallDataSubjectrightsarecorrectlyaddressedinatimelyandcompliantfashion

QualifiedDataProtectionPractitioner
Experienceworkingwithexternalstakeholdersandsupplierswithregardstodataprotectioncompliance
ExperienceinLegalandSocialHousingwithabilitytowriteandreviewLegaldocuments
